Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the VeloxWaves desktop application, website, accounts, billing, downloads, updater, support tools, and related services provided by Neural Wave Labs LLC. By using VeloxWaves, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service

VeloxWaves is a privacy-first desktop AI assistant for local dictation, push-to-talk speech recognition, searchable second brain memory, document translation, and local AI replies. Core transcription runs on your device and is not sent to a hosted speech service by VeloxWaves.

• Trial: 14-day no-credit-card Pro trial with full local dictation and translation access.
• Free: 2,000 local transcription words per rolling 7-day window after the trial expires.
• Pro: $9.99/month or $99/year subscription for unlimited local dictation and the full assistant experience.
• Enterprise: Contact-sales plan for organizations that need deployment, procurement, and support help.
• Inactive: Account disabled or temporarily unavailable; transcription may be paused until account status is resolved.

3. Local AI Features

VeloxWaves may use local models for speech recognition, embeddings, knowledge extraction, brainstorm replies, translation, OCR, and voice replies where supported. Some capabilities require explicit model downloads, hardware support, or additional setup. Local AI outputs can be useful, but you are responsible for reviewing transcripts, translations, summaries, and generated replies before relying on them.

4. Account and Trial

An account is required for plan status, trial activation, billing, releases, updater access, and support. New users receive a 14-day trial without entering payment details. We will not charge you unless you explicitly start a paid Pro subscription through Stripe.

5. Billing

Pro subscriptions renew monthly or annually unless cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Enterprise terms are handled by written agreement with Neural Wave Labs LLC.

If payment fails, a subscription is cancelled, or a refund is processed, your account may move to Free or Inactive depending on account state and eligibility.

7. Your Content and Local Data

You retain ownership of your voice input, transcripts, documents, translations, knowledge graph data, conversations, and other content. VeloxWaves does not claim ownership of text produced from your voice input or local AI workflows. You are responsible for content you create, import, translate, store, export, or share with others.

8. Acceptable Use

You may not reverse engineer the app except as allowed by law, bypass access controls, share credentials, abuse trials or Free plan limits, interfere with update or billing systems, use automated abuse systems, or use VeloxWaves for unlawful activity. You may not use VeloxWaves to violate privacy, intellectual property, export control, or other applicable laws.

9. Support and Issue Submission

In-app issue submission may include system information, logs, screenshots, and attachments only when you choose to send them. Free, Trial, and Inactive accounts may have daily issue submission limits; Pro and Enterprise accounts receive unlimited support submissions subject to reasonable anti-abuse controls.

10. Availability and Changes

VeloxWaves may change features, pricing, model availability, supported platforms, download availability, and plan limits over time. We try to preserve privacy-first behavior and local-only transcription by default, but some optional features may depend on supported hardware, operating system permissions, model downloads, or third-party services.
